The Snooty Fox has two bars, one non-smoking, and a separate non-smoking dining room.

The Snug Bar has satellite television and a separate games room for pool and darts whilst the lounge bar, in which meals are also served, has a wood burning stove for cool evenings.

We serve four traditional real ales which typically will include Jennings Cumberland Ale, Theakstons Black Bull, Carlisle State Bitter and Yates' Bitter. A range of keg beers, lagers and cider and a selection of house and quality wines are also available.

Food is served every evening, except Wednesdays during the winter, from 6.00pm to 8.30pm and on Sunday lunchtime between 12.00 and 1.45pm. We attempt where ever possible to use only fresh local ingredients in preparing our meals which are cooked to order.

Whilst our food is of restaurant standards our menu is reasonably priced.
